It’s crazy how quickly you picked up and applied his style. I took the course about a year ago as my first experience to urban sketching. That didn’t go too well and kind of gave up. Recently I went to a watercolor class which opened again my interest to urban sketching. I did follow a bunch of your tutorials and I’m slowly but surely starting to build confidence. I just rewatch the Domestika course but I haven’t done my 2nd trial yet. For some reason those markers aren’t working great for me. I guess i just need more practice!

That was really good, Scottie. That combination of a figure on a bike is really tricky - getting the proportions right is not easy, but it's easy to notice if the proportions are not right...!

Wonderful as usual! I see you often use the hairs to estimate the face proportions, I sometimes have a hard time in defining the hairline. Do you have any tips on how to find proportions for bald characters or if I don't want to use the hairline? Thank you!

I asked this last video also, about if u could please make some art on a Bristol,cardstock or normal paper because I don't have cotton paper and it's too expensive for me. If I use too much water using paint then it tear or not look so great. So I request you to please make a video (if u can) on drawing on a piece of paper which is not cotton. Other than that the tutorial is easy to follow and the drawing turns out great for me. Thanks again.

I have no idea why I never thought to draw the person first. So many times I try to draw people on bicycles or motorcycles and I start with the bike and can never get the proportions of the person right. I'll definitely try it this way next time.

I have getting the shapes the right size and one shape wrong can throw off all the other shapes.

I noticed that the way you hold a pen matters. For a long time, I held my pen the way I wrote and got very unstable lines. Then, I moved my hand grip back like you. It worked! Thanks so much for including your hand in the video. (Some other tutorials on the Internet got so close to the paper and drawing that I only saw the tip of the pen.)

could follow the steps easily, the problom is that I dont has cotton paper and using to much water with watercolor causes the paper to tear or the paint doesnt really become that light. Could you make one tutorial where u use acrylic paint in cardstock paper or bristol paper please.
